MotherIsaac! Are you hurt?
IsaacNo, I'm fine.
Mother...You have become so strong in such a short time! How you have grown up, my Isaac!
IsaacThanks!
MotherYour father... he would be proud, too.
MotherYour father was always worried that you cried too much!
Isaac...Mother.
MotherYes? What is it, dear?
IsaacI'm going to see father again. Just like you said...
IsaacI'm going to try trusting him again.
MotherIsaac...
MotherYou have become so strong...
MotherTake this with you. Father left it with me to give to you if anything happened to him.
MotherAlthough I fear that by giving you this I am plunging you deeper into this conflict...
MotherAll children must leave their parents eventually, I know.
IsaacMother, this is...
IsaacA Rune...?
MotherYes. The power of Light that your father was protecting.
MotherThe Rune of Light.
Isaac...The power my father protected...
MotherWell then, keep your back straight! Head up!
MotherBring him back safely, Isaac... for both of us.
IsaacI will, mother! We'll both come back safely, I promise!
