Tutorial 01
TristaHello! I'm Trista.
TristaToday Isaac and I are going to teach you how to play LOSTMAGIC.
IsaacHey there!
TristaFirst, we'll start with the basic controls. Are you ready, Isaac?
IsaacReady as I'll ever be!
TristaFirst touch him. Then touch a destination to move over to it.
TristaTry it out. Move over to that chest and see what's inside.
TristaNice one! Next, let's look at some magic.
TristaHold [L] down and the Rune drawing screen will appear - the source of all magic. Try it!
TristaSo when you want to use magic, you first need to hold down [L]. Remember that!

TristaThe Runes are distributed around the world - as you gather them up you can use their magic.
TristaYou must keep holding down [L] until you finish drawing the Rune. Once finished, release [L].
TristaIf you draw a Rune accurately while holding [L] down, magic will be unleashed.
TristaHave you got all that?

TristaHave you got all that?
If you choose “No.”
IsaacThat's a lot to take in all at once...
TristaSorry, I think I was talking too fast! OK, I'll try again.
ContinuesIf you choose “Yes.”
IsaacYep, no problem!
TristaOK! Great!
TristaLet's try it. Hold down [L] and copy the Rune shown on the top screen. Release [L] when done.
Case B (depends on the game state)
Case A (depends on the game state)
TristaGood, good! Impressive for your first Rune!
TristaOnce you've successfully drawn a Rune, you can then launch some magic...
TristaTouch anywhere on the screen.
IsaacWow! À fireball!
TristaWell done. Very well done!
Trista?!
TristaUh-oh! The sound of that fire ball appears to have attracted some monsters!
TristaThe Rune I just taught you will appear on the top screen when you press [L], just in case.
TristaAlso, you can scroll the screen with [+Control Pad]. Now take those monsters out!
IsaacLeave it to me!
TristaGo get 'em!
